I am still not sure whether the son is called Richard. I have convinced myself he emigrated to South Africa, and when researching the South Africa section I came across a few slides called R’s flat, Joburg. At first I believed this flat must be Richard's, the son. Or is it? The flat is not what I would expect for a relatively young professional man. As the series went on there was no images of Richard, only an old couple sitting on the balcony of the flat. I began to think that Nancy had a sister, Norah, who appears earlier in the work and in the South Africa section. My own story of how the work had ended its life in Huddersfield, due to Richard emigrating was beginning to lose credibility.
