It’s been a fantastic journey so far and I feel privileged to have viewed and researched this work. The work has raised many questions and issues, some of which are still unresolved. Over the course of the last few months I have acted as photographic sleuth and social historian. I have also had a voyeuristic fascination with the work which has given me access to private family moments. At times it has bordered on obsession and I have created so many possible scenarios that I cannot remember them all. The work is not over and I still cast a thought to the original bag which carries on the journey without the archive. Hopefully one day the archive may return home to the family, who still have emotional connections with it.
